Mizner Park Amphitheater in Downtown Boca to Host “Times Square”-style New Year’s Eve Party For First Time

New Year’s Eve at the Mizner Park Amphitheater in Boca Raton, FL will be a bit different this year. There has never been a New Year’s Eve presence at this venue before, so Rob Presents owner, Rob Sadowsky, is seeking to shake things up and bring a little New York City-style celebration to the famed amphitheater.

On December 31, 2011, the Mizner Park Amphitheater is going to be transformed into New York’s Times Square to usher in the New Year. The amphitheater will support billboards, signs and other resources to make partiers feel like they are bringing in the New Year in the world’s most famous New Year¹s Eve location. The most anticipated element of the Times Square¹s party, the ball drop, will take place as well.

“I want people to feel like they’re part of something great on New Year’s Eve,” says Sadowsky. “So many New Yorkers migrate to South Florida. Why should they be limited to watching it on TV, when they can be part of the festivities right here?” He adds, “It’s going to be a historic time. When that ball drops in Mizner Park, New Year’s Eve in South Florida will never be the same!”

In addition to the famous ball drop, the event will be hosted by DJ Kaisa. Entertainment will include live dancers, an open bar and champagne toast, all included with the price of admission. There are two levels of tickets available: General admission tickets for $100 will gain entrance to the lawn, open bar and food (available for purchase). VIP tickets for $225 gain entrance to the VIP stage area with access to the top-shelf open bar, VIP restaurant and private VIP lounges. Tickets are available online at www.robpresents.com.
