MON, JUNE 21 - SAT, JULY 31: Join the Mizner Park Cultural Center this summer for a musical theater training experience unlike any other. Your 7+ year old will be taken on a 6 week long, Musical Theater Adventure! This camp begins on June 21st from 9 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. During the first week, lion cubs will be taught the fundamentals of theatre through the story of The Lion King in what is called “The Lion King Experience.” Children will be taught by field professionals to help create props, build scenery, write scenes, design costumes and more.
Camp kids will also be professionally TAUGHT HOW TO AUDITION before auditioning for our production of “THE LION KING JR!” Weeks 2-6 will be spent training and rehearsing for “THE LION KING JR.” Parents will be invited to weekly Showcases starring their lion cubs. During rehearsals, children will be taught HOW TO DANCE, HOW TO SING and HOW TO ACT by accomplished and highly trained industry professionals.
